In the first of the last three sessions prior to the start of the 2008 season of Formula 1 Championship in the Circuit de Catalunya, Renault has taken a further step in its two pilots official position (Nelsinho Piquet and Fernando Alonso) ahead of its rivals McLaren and Ferrari in a wet morning.
Alonso led the entire meeting from start to finish proving to be unbeatable on wet asphalt and performed alongside her partner Piquet, refuelling exercises with all mechanical dressed in the clothes of the official French team.
Emphasize that the times were improved gradually throughout the morning as they dried the track and that this afternoon, if not rain again, can be further improved considerably with the track dry.
