Valmor SportsValmor Sports, the company that operates the Grand Prix of Europe, was frotaba hands and eyes. Even the most optimistic forecasts provided that the first day, in just 12 hours, all but 5,000 tickets sold.

The organization has settled in a few hours, 90 percent of its capacity. Valmor hid an ace in the sleeve, 40 percent agreed with an agent to sell tickets abroad, mainly in Europe, but nobody expected that, in addition, people withdraw 60,000 entries.

“People have exceeded our best expectations,” commented yesterday, surprised, Jorge Martinez Aspar. We have exhausted the seats in various tiers: the galleries T3, T4, T5, T6, T8, T12, T19, T20, T23, T24, T25 and T26.

The counselor Valmor Sports was very satisfied at the conclusion of the first day of ticket sales. “I am very pleased and somewhat surprised at the overwhelming response from the public on this first day. Initiative taken by the Generalitat Valenciana and in which Valmor Sports has invested in a firm will be a great success of public and strengthens us in our intention that the Formula 1 in Valencia is an event that lasts over time”, valued Aspar.

The tickets have been sold over the more expensive and more economical. In other words, the public has sought the best seat or the cheapest. The most requested locations have been higher-priced, 480-euro, which have been exhausted. The most affordable tickets have also been very much in demand and, in the case of the galleries T21 and T22 were sold in slightly less than a 98 per cent, while the towns of 250 euros has been drained. Seats with intermediate prices of 420 euros and 375 euros are still available at just over 5 percent. Those responsible for Valmor Sports, in fact, are convinced that the remaining tickets will not come to Friday.

“All channels have worked and the fans have been able to access the tickets by phone, online and in sales presence through El Corte Ingles centres throughout Spain”, he said. “Normality has been one of the keys Day and although fans have had to queue up at certain points, calm has prevailed in all cases”, said Aspar.
